Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cafe & Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant cafe. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience, managing a dynamic team, and ensuring the smooth running of all cafe operations. As the Cafe & Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for everything from managing staff and inventory to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring the quality of food and drinks. Responsibilities: Oversee inventory, ordering, and stocking of supplies, including coffee beans, food ingredients, and cleaning products. Work with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. Ensure that all food and beverages meet the cafe’s quality standards. Conduct regular checks to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are upheld. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and friendly manner. Create a welcoming environment for all guests, ensuring they feel valued and cared for. Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring that shifts are covered and operational needs are met, particularly during busy times or special events. Design a menu that aligns with the cafe’s brand identity, atmosphere, and target market. Analyze ingredient costs and develop a strategy for managing food and beverage expenses. Ensure menu pricing reflects these costs, while maintaining profitability. Hire, train, and manage cafe staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen staff. Ensure the team provides excellent customer service and maintains a positive and motivated work environment. Collaborate with the owner / team to develop promotions, social media content, and community outreach initiatives to attract and retain customers. Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a cafe or restaurant manager, or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry. Bachelor’s degree or diploma is a plus. Barista or culinary experience is desired. Advanced understanding of marketing and social media engagement is desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
