Base Salary: $151,671 - $159,471 (p.a.) Total Effective Package: $182,048 - $190,824 (p.a.)* Full Time, Continuous Contract Working with Central Australian Aboriginal Congress not only offers rewarding career options, but a wide range of employee benefits including: Competitive salaries Generous salary packaging Six (6) weeks' annual leave Superannuation A strong commitment to Professional Development Access to the Congress health services for you and your family at no cost District allowance and Remote Benefits Role Description The CYATS Section Manager will lead progress of the Child and Youth Assessment and Therapeutic Services (CYATS) expansion whilst ensuring efficient and effective services are delivered to children and young people with suspected and diagnosed neurodevelopmental disorders and developmental delays to access assessment, therapy, management, and support to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) through a multidisciplinary team collaborating across relevant Divisions of Congress. The role will build both town and remote capacity, coordinating the team and effectively collaborating across the organisation to ensure successful implementation of CYATS. This program will ensure all Aboriginal children and their families in Central Australia have access to evidence-informed assessment and therapeutic services within a continuous quality systems enhancement framework leading to service improvement through strong leadership and support to staff through a period of change and transition. To be considered for this position, you will require: Tertiary qualification in Health or Social Sciences or similar field. Demonstrated extensive experience in senior positions with strategic leadership, expertise and management experience, or a degree in business management, or executive leadership. Demonstrated experience and skills in providing clinical case management support to vulnerable families that is child-focused, family-centered and trauma-informed. Knowledge of child development, as well as neurodevelopmental disorders including FASD, ASD and Global Development Disorders.
