Job Description
A destination to Doubtful Sound - rural country Cafe and Store, open 6 days a week - job is for 5 days a week - full time hours (35-45 + hrs). We are seeking an experienced Cafe and Store Manager for Cathedral Cafe Store, Manapouri, Southland, to oversee the daily operations of the business. As the Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all aspects of the cafe and store, including hiring, training, and managing staff, product ordering for stock levels, maintaining accounts, ensuring health and safety requirements are met, providing great customer service, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Skills and Experience The suitably qualified candidate must: Have at least two years relevant management experience and/or a relevant management or business qualification diploma certificate level 6; Have excellent customer service and people management skills; Have the ability to work under pressure; Be able to manage customer satisfaction; Be proficient with computer software including Microsoft Office; Be physically fit and able to drive with a valid driver's license.
