We have a permanent opportunity for a Capital Delivery Manager located at Maryborough, Newstead, Toowoomba or Rockhampton and are inviting applications from suitable applicants. About your role: The Capital Delivery Manager is responsible for leading and coaching a team of project managers to deliver the Property Services non-network infrastructure program of work in line with organisational strategies, policies, and plans. You will direct and oversee major construction projects to ensure they are effectively managed to meet time, cost, and quality requirements. You will be a subject matter expert and be the main point of escalation for the team to provide guidance and solutions to complex construction issues. Additionally, you’ll manage and lead consultants and contractors to ensure the delivery of the program of work and ensure contractual and legal obligations are managed to control risk. About you: In addition to your degree qualifications in Project Management, Business Management, Engineering, Facilities Management and/or an equivalent experience/competence , you have excellent knowledge and experience delivering construction and infrastructure projects. You also have: Demonstrated experience in leading high performing teams as well as leading change and continuous improvement, ensuring collaboration across the organisation. High level knowledge and commercial understanding in the management of program delivery outcomes, including building, construction, and property redevelopment projects. Highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills to negotiate, influence and build strong relationships with a range of key stakeholders including executives. Demonstrated knowledge in contractual and legal obligations including managing contracts, contractors, and project managers to deliver non-network infrastructure projects.
