New Town Toyota and Kalamunda Toyota are growing and we’re looking for people to grow with us. We are seeking a reliable and safety conscious Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be driving a 19 meter long 3-Car Carrier, and will be responsible for managing new and used stock transfers between dealerships, to and from suppliers, and to and from Customers primarily within the Perth metro area. This is a full-time permanent role, perfect for someone who enjoys driving, thrives under minimal supervision, and has a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. We’re one of Perth’s biggest Toyota dealerships, supplying and servicing a large variety of private and fleet customers. Job Description How you will make an impact: Conducting a daily pre-start check on the car carrier truck to ensure roadworthiness and safe delivery Safe and efficient transport of vehicles; loading, securing, and unloading vehicles as per the Company's policy to prevent vehicle damage Ensuring vehicle condition report is completed prior to vehicle transfers, taking photos as needed Maintaining the carrier in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly to your line manager Abiding by all road safety regulations and adhering to company policies and procedures Providing excellent customer service at pick-up and delivery points Desired Skills and Experience What we're looking for: Current HR-B class WA driver's license (or above) Ability to operate a manual ramp A self-starter who can work independently, with a strong work ethic and safety first mindset Someone who enjoys customer service and can interact professionally at pick-up and delivery sites Ability to follow instruction and report to line manager throughout the day Previous experience in car carrying or similar transport role (preferred but not essential) What we offer: Competitive hourly rate Full-time hours with occasional overtime opportunities Comprehensive training and support The chance to work with a supportive, experienced team Employee discounts across a range of Toyota products and services Employee discounts on private health insurance, Crown hotel rates, and local businesses On-site gym Access to our confidential employee assistance program Work for an award winning dealership, most recently Best Automotive Business of the Year 2023 - MTA 2023 and Best Looking Metro Dealership in Metro Australia - AADA.
