Job Description
This is a Full-Time position at a well-reputed, locally owned and operated caravan park in Darwin. We are seeking an experienced Park Manager/Caretaker to start immediately to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy park. This opportunity is for DARWIN PERMANENT RESIDENTS ONLY. Tasks & Responsibilities Park operations, organization, and management, including ‘out of hours’ responsibilities. Completion of grounds keeping tasks to ensure a high standard is maintained throughout the park via the mowing of lawns, pool & garden maintenance, and bins during the off-peak season. Reception duties, including answering the phone and managing check-ins/outs. Greet guests via phone and in person in a friendly and courteous manner. Accurately take and record reservation information, process deposit information, and provide guests with confirmation correspondence. Ensure smooth operation of the park by managing issues as they arise. Deliver proactive problem-solving solutions and outcomes. Manage the park’s maintenance and gardening works. Assist park tenants and guests. Ensure the park is compliant with all laws including WHS, licensing, fire regulations, and essential services. Requirements: Be a Darwin Permanent Resident with long-term plans in the NT. Previous experience in a similar role is highly preferred. RMS reservation system knowledge is an advantage. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks. A valid driver's license. How do your skills match this job?
