About This Role Ongoing, full time position based in Bendigo Help contribute to the rehabilitation of individuals leading to greater community safety Comprehensive training and career development offered CCP3 Salary: $86,691 - $93,275 plus superannuation About Us Community Correctional Services (CCS) contributes to the safety of the community by applying practices that reduce reoffending and connect individuals to programs, services and community. CCS provides management of individuals on court orders, people who have committed serious sex offences on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole. About The Role Case Managers in the Court Practice stream are responsible for applying evidence-based case management practices to individuals at medium or high risk of reoffending. This role is required to utilise case management practices to actively engage individuals and ensure responsive, targeted interventions to assist in reducing their risk of reoffending. Key Responsibilities Include Identify and evaluate factors that relate to individual offending behaviour Motivate and influence individuals in the case management process Produce detailed reports and other standard documents in line with procedural guidelines Monitor individual's compliance against order requirements To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have Demonstrates assertiveness and confidence in dealing with individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours Understanding of case management practices relating to complex individuals Practices modelling pro-social behaviours and motivates those around them Pays attention to words, expression and body language; Recognises behaviours that promote a culture of inclusion A relevant qualification in social work, law, human services, criminal justice or criminology, or experience in court advice, assessments or prosecutions is also desirable.
