The Cook is responsible for ensuring that the production and distribution of food service is maintained to appropriate standards in an efficient and effective manner. The Cook is responsible for the ordering of non-impress food supplies, plating of meals, menu selections and ensuring that quality control of food production is maintained to an acceptable standard. Eligibility Applicants are encouraged to have previous experience in cooking bulk meals, cooking for dietary requirements and have sound computer skills. Important Information Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements. Check(s) National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients) Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category B.
