Casual Disability Support Workers - Blacktown Cocoon SDA Care provides support staff to NDIS-registered providers. Our houses offer our participants a place they can call home, whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit their individual needs. About the role: Multiple positions will be available. Must be available for Sleepover shifts. Experience in managing participants who require support with complex care and high physical needs. Experience with Complex Wound and Urinary Catheter. Professional Development opportunities for learning and career growth. We are seeking Casual Disability Support Workers who have experience in supporting participants with high complex needs. You will work in Supported Disability Accommodation to support those with medical needs and manual handling requirements for participants to live in an environment that maximises personal growth and independence. Enable our participants to shape and improve their lives. As a support worker, you will be rewarded for your skills and commitment in providing consistent high-quality care. Enjoy working in a family-friendly, supportive, close-knit working environment driven by strong values. Mandatory requirements: Certificate III in Disability, or Individual Support or equivalent. First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willing to obtain. Current Driver’s License (mandatory). Please note: The successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening check and a Working with Children Check.
