Join to apply for the Category Customer Manager role at Kraft Heinz In this hybrid role, the Category Customer Manager is responsible for developing and executing the Kraft Heinz category strategy at the customer level across Australia and New Zealand. By deeply understanding customer strategies and priorities, this role bridges the Marketing and Sales teams to align on 18-month strategic plans. The CCM leads the creation and delivery of compelling range reviews and strategic initiatives, fostering strong partnerships with retail customers to drive mutual growth. Key responsibilities Strategic Planning Align strategic initiatives with customer timelines to ensure seamless execution Synthesizing of KH strategic objectives, KH Category strategies and Customer strategies to develop winning strategies across our portfolio Process and analytical support for formation of Joint Business and Joint Category plans, to align KH and Customer strategies and activities over 18 month horizons Category Strategy Detailed knowledge and understanding of the performance by retailer for the categories Kraft Heinz participates in Prioritisation of categories and customers across the Kraft Heinz business in Australia and New Zealand Support the risks and opportunities process by developing and monitoring retailer-oriented plans through cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with Finance to close gaps against the plan Complete monthly review of market share and scan for internal routines and planning Range Reviews Lead the objective setting and R&O process for Must Win/Grow range reviews Development of stories and sell-in for customer-facing workshops and range reviews in partnership with Sales, Category Revenue, and Category Development NPD sell in and go-to-market planning Consult on customer target setting for new product launches, including distribution and margin assumptions Identify risks and develop retailer-oriented plans, ensuring effective communication of category strategies and assumptions with sales, marketing, and demand planning teams Lead the formation of deletion defense stories to ensure optimal range review outcomes, aligned with category strategies and retailer objectives Conduct bottom-up customer planning with sales, focusing on segmentation, ranging gaps, and promotional activation Insights Collaborate with Category Development and Marketing teams to make ranging category decisions to support Kraft Heinz strategic objectives Develop and leverage tools, processes, insights, and systems capabilities related to range, shelf layout, and distribution performance Leadership Responsible for leading a team of two Analysts Coordination and allocation of workload across the group Development and performance support of team members About you 5+ years of working experience in FMCG Sales/Key Account Management or on retailer-side Buyer or similar 2+ years working with or for major Australian retailers (i.e. Coles, Woolworths, Metcash) Bachelor's degree - business or sales related discipline is desirable Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel Promotion and/or range modelling Systems knowledge a plus: Nielsen/IRI Scan/Panel (e.g. Temple, UNIFY), Demantra, JDA, Tableau, Quantium, Dunnhumby Passionate and driven about delivering results Strong interpersonal skills to influence and sell recommendations internally, ability to negotiate both internally and externally to achieve the objectives of the Kraft Heinz Category Strategy Skilful in presentation and storytelling skills, using data to tell a story and influence our customers in all of our interactions Problem-solving mentality with ability to navigate a high pace environment Strong analytical horsepower with ability to translate insights into action through storytelling to sell plans to customers Strong commercial & retailer acumen ideally through direct experience at a retailer or in a retailer-facing role About us Hybrid Working – Flexibility around when and where you work Pay for Performance – industry leading variable compensation offerings tied to company and individual performance on top of a competitive base salary package Parental Leave – paid time off for both primary AND secondary caregivers Leave Options – Purchased leave, volunteer leave and LiveWell leave programs to give you even more flexibility to plan your life and spend time on causes that matter Great Place to Work certification in Australia In House Training Programs Corporate Discount Programs & Novated Leasing – Utilize a range of discount programs (gym membership, health insurance, banking) Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Food and Beverage Manufacturing and Food and Beverage Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
