About the Opportunity: We are hiring for an important role in the Category Management team! Key Experience and Skills Required: Relevant qualifications. Experience in related industrial environments. Expertise in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and driving compliance. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Experience in contract management and data analysis. Ability to be flexible and adaptive in a challenging environment. Ability to collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and forecast future requirements for spend categories. Proven ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and budget constraints. Strategic sourcing experience, including the identification, evaluation, and selection of suppliers for provision of products that meet business requirements. Demonstrated skills with the negotiation of contracts, terms, and prices with suppliers to ensure favorable agreements. A data-driven approach using Microsoft tools for problem-solving, along with the ability to leverage interpersonal skills for influencing and negotiating internal stakeholders. The ability to prioritize work depending on business requirements and the forecasted return on effort. Ability to report on data and the narrative behind it. Strong document management ability on internal systems. Ability to adapt to situations and changing business requirements. The drive to problem-solve with the end goal in sight.
