Category Manager (Procurement) - Corporate Services or FM categories Must have Corporate Services or FM Category Management experience Full time perm - $150-180K + Super - Flex working conditions - Leave entitlement Professional development and career progression opportunities available My client, a leading ASX listed organisation, is looking for a Category Manager with experience managing either Corporate/Professional Services or Facilities Maintenance categories of spend to join their procurement function which is undergoing a major transformation and contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the organisation as a whole. Responsibilities: Support the organisation to achieve operational goals through the delivery of commercially astute and efficient category and procurement strategies. Organise end to end procurement activities in consultation with key stakeholders to deliver sustainable value and benefits to the business. Conduct the full range of sourcing processes from identification of requirements through to contract negotiation, execution and post contract award management, while utilising Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain systems and processes effectively. Support bid teams and the acquisition of new business through the provision of effective and current outline agreements, rate cards and contracts. Assist in full tender / bid management where required, commercial and contractual aspects, overall programming, and ensure programs deliver against business objectives within required period and budget. Requirements: Relevant Commerce, Business qualifications or equivalent experience. Deep knowledge of Category Management, Contract Management and SRM. A proven track record in strategic procurement and benefits delivery. Demonstrated experience working in a central Strategic Procurement department. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Well-developed commercial acumen with high level negotiation ability with suppliers and stakeholders. This position can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney , with flexible working arrangements, involving 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week working from home.
