About the opportunity The Strategic Procurement team is responsible for providing strategic procurement support to the management of bid development for the delivery of construction projects for Enerven. An opportunity has arisen for a Category Officer to join the team at Enerven, Station Place. The role will provide efficient and effective business partnering across key stakeholder groups, ensuring delivery of an optimal supply base to meet the requirements of Enerven, at the lowest sustainable total cost. Other key responsibilities include: Support the development of bids by undertaking sourcing activities, coordinating go-to-market activities and the provision of quotations and management of supplier negotiations. Support the delivery of construction projects by supporting strategic sourcing activities to secure new suppliers and/or new products and services, ensuring value for money and appropriate levels of service. Undertake market research. Develop and issue RFT documentation. About you Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Engineering or an equivalent level of skills or knowledge gained through experience. Member Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) or working towards. Demonstrated experience in bid development and project delivery procurement, strategic sourcing, contract development, supplier management and procurement metrics reporting. Previous project procurement experience in a large or complex environment. Excellent business acumen and ability to deal with difficult stakeholders and fast paced environment.
