Job Description As Centre Program Manager – Jreissati Pancreatic Centre at Epworth (JPCE), in this fixed-term, full-time role, you will join the leadership team of a philanthropic funded centre of excellence at Epworth HealthCare, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of patients with pancreatic cancer. Reporting to the Centre Director - JPCE, you will work with a close-knit team and be responsible for fulfilling the intentions of the Centre and to develop and implement activities in alignment with the Centre pillars of 1) clinical care, 2) research and clinical trials, 3) community engagement and education, and 4) patient experience and advocacy. You will make an impact by: Implementing the strategic plan for the Centre, in alignment with Centre pillars and continue to develop strategies to ensure alignment Raising Centre awareness and engagement with key stakeholders Leading a collaborative and effective team by fostering a culture of growth and innovation Working closely with clinicians, sponsors, donors, strategic partners and granting bodies to improve patient outcomes To be successful in this role… You will be an experienced leader with previous experience in medical research or healthcare service provision. Dynamic and innovative in your approach, you thrive in developing projects; balanced with efficient and effective execution and implementation. You are a good communicator, with an empathetic and supportive approach and easily develop meaningful relationships with all those you work with. You will have: Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated experience in directing a busy research and/or clinical service of a similar size (up to 12 staff) Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualifications in health or science with post graduate qualifications in relevant field Additional Information At Epworth, it’s a community.
