Hotham is looking for an experienced and qualified chef to lead and coordinate a team of chefs, cooks and kitchen hands in preparing, cooking and serving quality food offerings across food and beverage venues and employee housing kitchens. Management of stock is imperative to ensuring efficient and profitable food service with a focus on ensuring clear and safe passage to venues for staff and guests. In a typical day in this role, you might: Lead, direct and monitor the production & associated staffing of kitchens through the appropriate supervisors & staff. Work towards creating a productive, efficient and harmonious team environment. Ensure stock take is being managed and documented in a timely and accurate manner. Enforce all aspects of food safety programme and where necessary take appropriate steps to ensure that food safety programme is being adhered to. Assist in the opening and closing of all food outlets.
