Part time, 0.4-0.5 EFT (capacity to work Mondays is preferable) Fixed-term parental leave role 31.03.25 – 16.02.26 The Melbourne Clinic (TMC) is a large private mental health service, comprising of inpatient, day-program (outpatient) and Outreach (mobile community) services. TMC provides therapeutic interventions for a range of mental health conditions, including: depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, eating disorders, OCD and neurodevelopmental conditions. A range of evidence-based therapies are utilised, including CBT, DBT, ACT and EMDR. TMC welcomes diversity in its client group and workforce. Job Description A suitably qualified neuropsychologist is sought for a fixed-term part-time position at The Melbourne Clinic, Richmond, Victoria. As the successful applicant, you will: Co-ordinate the assessment and therapy referrals for the neuropsychology inpatient service. Lead the development and updating of the neuropsychology psychoeducation groups program (in the Living Well Program) and review and update the content of other psychologically-based inpatient group programs (such as the ADHD day-program and the Autism Program). Provide supervision to Grade 2 & 3 neuropsychologists, and assist in co-ordination of the supervision structure for neuropsychology with the Allied Health Manager. Conduct individual neuropsychology assessment, therapy and group work. Work with the TMC allied health management and nursing education team to develop professional training sessions for staff in your areas of expertise. Key Responsibilities The successful applicant will report professionally to the Director of Allied Health and work with the Chief Clinical Psychologist and Allied Health Manager to achieve operational goals and maintain clinical integrity for psychology and the broader clinical workforce. They will oversee the identification, implementation and evaluation of psychology services to enhance clinical outcomes and compliance with legislative requirements. They will oversee professional supports to employed clinicians such as supervision and relevant team meetings/professional development sessions as well as coordinate student placements. Desirable Qualifications Full registration with AHPRA, Endorsement as a Clinical Neuropsychologist, Registered Supervisor. Hold a current working with children check. 10 years’ experience as a psychologist. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated commitment to high quality service provision and to professional development. Highly developed assessment, formulation and treatment planning skills. Experience and competency in the provision of evidence-based group therapies. Highly-developed interpersonal, communication and multi-disciplinary team skills.
