Child Development Assistant - Play2Learn Tracking Code: 4680-689 Job Description Our Mobile Play2Learn is an outreach early childhood program that goes out into the Mundubbera community and supports families and children to reach their full potential. In this casual position (potential workdays across Monday - Friday), you’ll support early childhood development and school readiness skills, and will facilitate improved relationships between parents and children. Working across different sites in the Mundubbera region as part of our mobile service, you’ll work in a team to create an environment of trust and respect with families and children. You’ll be part of our Mobile Play2Learn team and report to our Team Leader. You will make a difference by: Assisting to develop and deliver early learning programs Working within a team to ensure programs are age and developmentally appropriate Creating a welcoming and safe environment to encourage active participation Growing an understanding of early learning amongst families and sharing your knowledge with community members Bringing your best every day, means: Minimum Certificate III in Children’s Services or equivalent experience Experience working with children 0-5 and families in a group setting Strong organisational and time management skills Current valid driver’s licence 54 reasons is proudly part of Save the Children Australia.
