Join the opportunity Join our team as a Cultural Development and Grants Officer and play a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive arts and cultural landscape within our community. This position offers a unique opportunity to support diverse cultural initiatives and make a lasting impact. You will make an impact by Administering and managing the arts, festivals, and events grants program. Supporting the planning and execution of public art projects. Assisting in the curation and programming of theatre and gallery events. Actively engaging with community arts groups and creative industries. Developing and implementing strategies to foster participation in arts and cultural activities. This position will be required to work a rotational Tuesday - Saturday roster. What you will bring Experience in grants management and program administration. Experience in planning and executing public art projects and facilitating community engagement initiatives. Proven ability to engage proactively with artists, community groups, and stakeholders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders. A passion for the arts and a commitment to fostering an inclusive cultural environment. Strategic thinking and the ability to identify emerging trends in the arts and cultural sector.
