Pay Rate: SCHCADS Award, Salary starting at: $97,378 k Rewarding Role: Make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families Benefits: Generous NFP salary packaging – increase your take-home pay by up to $16k Max-term Full-time: Monday to Friday 38 hours per week (some flexibility with working hours) Your Role Provide vital support to children and young people living in refuge or transitional housing as they navigate the impacts of domestic and family violence. In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with case workers and support workers, offering expert guidance and hands-on support to help families rebuild their lives. Your Responsibility Develop case plans that prioritise safety, well-being, and empowerment Support children, young people, and parents through casework and group sessions Conduct risk assessments and facilitate tailored support services Provide expert guidance to build staff capacity in best-practice approaches Connect families with essential services and community networks You Will Need Diploma/Degree in Community Services or related field 2+ years' casework experience with strong problem-solving & crisis management skills Expertise in supporting women & children affected by Domestic & Family Violence Skilled in building trust with hesitant clients Deep understanding of trauma-informed & child-centered practice Commitment to culturally responsive support for Aboriginal & CALD families Knowledge of the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998 Ability to work independently & in a team NSW Driver’s Licence Apply Now If this sounds like you, don’t wait - apply now , we are interviewing applications as we receive them.
