We are now expanding our team and seeking a highly skilled Civil Construction Supervisor to oversee an exciting land subdivision project in Bushland Beach, Townsville. About the Role This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will be responsible for coordinating civil construction activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality work. You will oversee earthworks, drainage, roadworks, and utility installations, working closely with project managers, engineers, and key stakeholders. This is an ongoing opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to make a lasting impact. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all on-site civil construction activities for the land subdivision project. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project plans, safety protocols, and quality standards. Monitor progress, enforce deadlines, and solve on-site challenges to keep the project on track. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations, environmental standards, and quality control measures. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and directors to ensure smooth execution of work. Conduct regular site inspections, progress reporting, and risk assessments to ensure efficiency and safety. Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear direction and problem resolution. What We’re Looking For Civil Engineering degree (Mandatory).QLD Site Supervisor Licence (Mandatory).White Card (Mandatory).Driver Licence (Mandatory).2-3+ years of experience as a supervisor in civil construction, land development, or infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of earthworks, roadworks, drainage, and subdivision construction.Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple teams.Proficiency in reading and interpreting civil construction plans.Strong communication and reporting skills.
