Principal Consultant | Construction & Engineering at Stellar Recruitment Manage wide ranging projects at an expanding mining operation Work with a great team of people in a fantastic location 2 or 3 year fixed term position with the potential for renewal About the client: MACH Energy’s Mount Pleasant Operation is a relatively new coal mine that commenced operations in Q4 2017. Located near Muswellbrook, the operation has successfully ramped up to 10.5 Mtpa (ROM) of high-quality thermal coal whilst achieving outstanding safety, environmental, and community outcomes via a “One Team” mentality adopted by employees, business partners, contractors, and suppliers. With an impending growth phase and associated capital projects, MACH Energy’s winning team is looking to bring on an experienced Civil Package Manager to join the Projects team. About the role: Reporting to the Sustaining Capital and Development Project Manager, the Civil Package Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of various civil packages within the sustaining capital works budget ranging up to a value of $90 million. The Civil Package Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies and processes to establish and execute the projects in accordance with the Stakeholder’s requirements. The Civil Package Manager will lead engineering and field-based personnel in the delivery of the works. The current 2025-2026 Capital program includes projects related to public roads, dams and drains, upgrading of internal civil structures and site-based road construction.
