Classroom School Officer - St Benedict's Catholic Primary School, MANGO HILL Commencing January 2025 Fixed Term School Officer Level 3 - $33.18 per hour Estimated start date: Commencing January 2025 Position tenure: Fixed Term Weeks worked: School term weeks only (holidays unpaid) Tenure duration: January - December 2025 Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: 17.5 Hours to 22 Hours per week Employment conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement St Benedict's Primary School at Mango Hill has a student population of just over 760 students. The school was established in 2008 and is located in the outer northern suburbs of Brisbane (Mango Hill). We are seeking Multiple Classroom Support Assistants to undertake a range of tasks in supporting the learning needs of students, under the direction of the teacher, across our Early Years classrooms. The successful applicants will ideally have previous experience as a School Officer and/or hold a minimum of a Cert 3 in Educational Support. Having proven communication and interpersonal skills will be important as is an understanding of the work of the Early Year classrooms and a willingness to work as part of a team. You will also demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes. Duties will include general classroom support, one on one and small group support, using technology to support learning activities and preparation of learning materials.
