Although this is a back of house role, meals are sometimes the residents' favorite part of the day so we want individuals who can put a smile on the residents’ faces. You need to be a very active person as you are on your feet for most of your shift! WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As a Food Service Assistant (FSA), you will learn new skills as you connect and build quality relationships with individuals across a variety of aged care homes, enhancing everyone’s quality of life. Prepare, present and deliver delicious food and beverages to residents in accordance with Facility Food Safety Policies. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen. Sweep and mop floors, wash dishes, benches & cutlery, and dispose of rubbish. Set the dining room for daily meals – you may get to engage with the lovely residents, so a bubbly personality is a must. Adhere to and support WH&S and general Food Safety Compliance activities. Clean facility – residents' rooms, bathrooms, common areas, dusting, vacuuming, and sweeping. Attention to detail is a must. WHAT DO YOU NEED? Previous experience in the Back of House Hospitality or Aged Care sectors. Current National Employment Police Check. Covid vaccinated as per state government requirements. Driver’s license and your own reliable transport. Willingness to complete mandatory training through Crewe Sharp's onboarding process.
