We are excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time Client Services Officer / Administration Assistant to join our team. About the Role This position is located at Maroochydore on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. We are seeking a client-focused superstar who can support reception and our team with general administration and housekeeping duties as required. We are looking for an upbeat and vibrant professional who has the following qualities: Exceptional attention to detail & accuracy Brilliant phone manner & personable skills Willingness to learn, show initiative & be a positive ‘team player’ who is willing to contribute Positive & upbeat attitude High standard of ethics, confidentiality & professionalism Excellent time management with the ability to multitask Responsible & outcome-focused Tech-savvy – there is no need to be an expert, but you must be proficient Your duties as our Client Services Officer / Administration Assistant will include but are not limited to: Welcoming clients and professionally answering and screening incoming calls Electronic collation and uploading of year-end client documentation such as tax returns, BAS, invoices, and more to our client digital signature portal Assisting with the creation and management of tasks in our internal work-in-progress system Filing and maintaining confidential client documentation Processing lodgments with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) Assisting with ASIC compliance tasks, including the setup of new company and trust structures Managing communications with government departments such as the ATO and ASIC Preparing and distributing our monthly client newsletter Assisting with digital marketing initiatives Managing debtors and following up on outstanding payments via email and text About You The ideal candidate will possess: Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an office administration role, ideally within an accounting firm or professional services environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and a strong comfort level with technology Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues alike An ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a busy environment A high level of professionalism, with a strong focus on confidentiality and ethical standards Why Clarke McEwan?
