Client Side Project Coordinator My client is looking for a Project Coordinator to lead construction projects from concept to completion. In this role, you will report to the Senior Project Manager or the Director.What You’ll Do: Client Management Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients. Deliver Excellence: Ensure projects meet contractual and commercial targets while satisfying clients. Communicate: Keep your supervisor updated on project progress, challenges, and successes to reinforce client trust. Project Planning & Execution Define Objectives: Collaborate with clients and senior management to set clear project goals and develop a detailed project brief. Coordinate Efforts: Lead the planning, design, finance, and construction phases, making sure every team member knows their role. Manage Scope and Budget: Clearly define the project’s scope, allocate tasks, and manage budgets. Stay on top of design changes, requests for information (RFIs), variations, and regulatory issues. Risk Management: Develop and share a detailed risk management plan with the team, ensuring everyone is prepared for potential issues. Reporting: Provide accurate, up-to-date project status reports to keep all stakeholders informed. Education: Tertiary qualification in Construction, Project Management, or a related discipline. Licenses: A current driver’s licence. Experience: Industry Background: At least 2-4 years of experience in the construction industry. Sectors: Experience with commercial projects, high-end residential developments, and retirement living facilities is preferred but not essential. Key Competencies: Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and completion. Multi-Tasking: Strong skills in handling multiple projects and delegating tasks effectively. Communication & Networking: Ability to build and maintain a network of industry contacts and stakeholders. Leadership: A genuine desire to lead teams, mentor team members, and continuously improve processes. Passion & Commitment: Enthusiasm for the construction and project management industry, with a focus on achieving excellence.
