Clinical Analysis and Investigation Officer About the role An exciting maximum term opportunity has come available to join ARRCS as our Clinical Analysis and Investigation Officer. This position is being offered on a maximum-term, full-time basis commencing in March 2025 for a 6-month duration and offers an attractive remuneration package including salary packaging and flexible working conditions. This role is ideally based in Darwin; however, we are happy to discuss remote working based on the applicant. As the Clinical Analysis and Investigation Officer, you will be responsible and accountable for undertaking investigations and preparing reports and recommendations involving serious incidents within our aged care facilities. This role will also see you supporting the clinical governance and ARRCS operational teams on clinical improvement and prevention strategies. As the successful candidate, you will bring to the organisation a background and current registration as a Registered Nurse. You will hold an unrestricted AHPRA registration and have previous experience working within a clinical investigation or clinical governance capacity. You will be a self-starter who is confident to work with senior management within the ARRCS organisation and be apt at working with and discussing highly private and sensitive information. In addition, you will be a driven and proactive person who enjoys working within Health and Aged Care. Your passion will be for our residents and working to ensure ARRCS provides person-centred care. Telus Employee Wellbeing & Emotional Support Skills & experience To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications: Tertiary Degree as a Registered Nurse or higher and an unrestricted AHPRA registration. Minimum three (3) years post-registration clinical experience in an aged or acute care position. Proven ability to understand incident investigation, analysis, management, audit theory and application to the care environment with desirable previous exposure to clinical, incident, risk and care management databases. Demonstrated ability to train clinicians in auditing practice and data interpretation for the purpose of identifying and implementing improvement strategies. Demonstrated experience with data analysis tools and/or proven ability to develop appropriate tools congruent with the business.
