The Role: The Occupational Therapy Clinical Lead (Education and Support) at Launceston General Hospital works in collaboration with Allied Health leadership and other multi-disciplinary educator roles to promote a positive learning culture; co-ordinating and managing pre-entry student placements; and contributing significantly to the development of a highly skilled, satisfied and sustainable workforce. This role is responsible for working with students, their supervisors, and early-career graduate OTs to build capability, competence and confidence in occupational therapy practice, ensuring safe and effective provision of OT clinical services. Salary: $123,717 to $134,336 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022 Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. Please note that access to salaries beyond $130,900 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme. Minimum Requirements: Satisfactory completion of an appropriate allied health professional course of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, eligible for membership with the relevant professional association. Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable: Five or more years post-graduate experience as an allied health professional including experience in supervising and supporting pre-entry students and new graduate allied health professionals. Holds, or is currently working towards, postgraduate qualifications in education and or clinical teaching and learning. Current Driver’s licence.
