Our CVU/Cath Lab is a state-of-the-art facility that offers a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures. As a Clinical Nurse in this department, you will have the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled cardiac, vascular and interventional radiology professionals. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort Administer medications, manage IV lines, and assist with various diagnostic and interventional procedures Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and lifestyle modifications Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards About you To be successful in your application you will have: Current AHPRA nursing registration as a Clinical Nurse (no restrictions) Post-graduate studies (completed or currently enrolled) highly advantageous Considerable demonstrated experience in an Acute Care setting / Medical environment (ideally with a minimum of 12 months experience in Cath Lab/Cardiac Services) Previous Clinical Nurse experience preferred A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to role model and promote the Mater values Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levels Demonstrated ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning and strong listening, negotiation and decision-making skills Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Commitment to ensuring the levels of service is always delivered to patients at all times Benefits Via salary packaging arrangements, allocate some living expenses directly from your pre-taxable income and ultimately increase your take-home pay Access to package meal and entertainment expenses via salary packaging Access to leading education and professional development via Mater Education Access to our Employee Assistance Program and on-site pastoral care teams Discounts to local and national business/venues for Dining/Retail/Travel & Accommodation/Other Unlimited access to a multitude of discounted fitness facilities through Fitness Passport Access to on-site, discounted parking Discounted food and beverage at various campus cafés and coffee venues Applications close Tuesday 18th February 2025.
