Location: Geraldton Unit/Division: Midwest -> Cancer Services Work Type: Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Part Time This is for a Permanent or Fixed Term Part Time appointment at 15.20 hours per fortnight with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Cancer Care team in Geraldton. To be successful, you will have: Advanced practice within the relevant practice setting. Advanced skills in planning coordination and decision making in the management of patients within the relevant practice setting. Well-developed team leadership and membership skills. Well-developed communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Effective incorporation of quality and risk management within practice. Understanding and knowledge of the Aboriginal cultural respect framework. Position Profile: The primary responsibility of the Clinical Nurse Cancer Services is to manage, coordinate, and deliver competent care for patients using leadership and advanced nursing skills and knowledge relevant to the practice setting.
