This is a Permanent Full Time or Fixed Term Full Time appointment, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Community Mental Health team based in Geraldton - Midwest. To Be Successful, You Will Have Demonstrate knowledge of and experience with psychiatric disorders and treatment interventions, and principles of community based mental health care and illness prevention. Demonstrated well developed written and verbal communication, negotiating and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work with clients from a variety of cultural and ethnic groups. A working knowledge of the WA Mental Health Act (2014) and other relevant legislation. Demonstrated ability to work with other health professionals with a multi-disciplinary team. Knowledge of computer applications, word processing skills. Position Profile: This role provides, plans, implements Community Mental Health Nursing care to customers of Midwest Mental Health and Community Alcohol & Drug Service.
