About The Role The CNC3 provides complex and expansive expert clinical consultancy to the rehabilitation services and teams within HNELHD Mental health Services. This includes Morisset Hospital, The Intermediate Stay Health Unit (ISMHU), The Support Through Early Psychosis Service (STEPS), Community Rehabilitation Teams and other services as directed.The successful candidate will take a lead role for the rehabilitation clinician network and the rehabilitation stream within HNELHD MHS. The successful candidate will also lead, participate and collaborate in the design and conduct of quality improvement and research initiatives, as well as providing significant contribution to the direction of clinical nurse education in mental health rehabilitations across the district.The successful candidate will be an active member of the Health Team working on the design phase for a new facility build in the Maitland area, where it is planned that the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services will relocate in 2027.You won’t be working alone. The successful applicant will be supported by the Senior Nurse Manager of Morisset Hospital and the Rehabilitation Coordinator. Further support is also available through HNELHD MHS Nursing managers and leaders, HNELHD Nursing and Midwifery Services and other senior specialist clinicians within the Rehabilitation network/stream.As The Successful Candidate, You Will Be able to work autonomously, whilst being effective in building and maintaining relationships with multiple stakeholders.
