As a Clinical Nurse Educator, reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering education and support to all staff in our Theatres Department. You will also contribute to the strategic plan of the Hospital Education Department as an essential member of the team. You will be required to: Deliver high-quality, evidence-based training and support to the staff in the Theatres Department. Develop, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs across the facility. Provide valuable contributions to the hospital’s quality improvement process. Skills and Experience You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate: Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Minimum 5 years’ experience within the areas of anaesthetics, scrub scout and/or recovery Proven ability to always act as a positive role model and as a professional Team leading experience Possess excellent time management skills and well-developed clinical problem-solving skills A passion for mentoring junior team members and positively influencing their performance Post graduate qualification in specialty area desirable but not essential What’s in it for you?
