Position Classification: Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 Remuneration: $53.32 - $55.07 per hour Hours Per Week: 8 Requisition ID: REQ410402 Where you'll be working: Mona Vale Hospital What you'll be doing: The Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (CNS2) provides a conduit to facilitate information sharing, planned care and care coordination for patients within the hospital and the continuum through liaising and networking with key stakeholders both internal and external. The CNS2 is an expert in their area of specialty who provides leadership, advice and recommendations on all aspects of related care. The CNS2 formulates and implements policy, guides practice, and engages in education and research activities. The CNS2 acts as a role model providing complex care to those patients requiring advanced clinical skills regarding their area of specialty. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply. Minimum Requirements Division 1 Registered Nurse with post registration qualification relevant to specialty and at least 3 years experience working in the clinical area of their post graduate qualification. Evidence of advanced level of knowledge and skill related to management of specialty area. Demonstrated knowledge in initiating and implementing changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes, models of care, evidence based practice and practice development.
