Join the Nexus Unit at John Hunter Hospital, where you’ll help shape a new model of care while delivering compassionate and effective therapy. Supported by a multidisciplinary team, you’ll advocate for person-centred care, create tailored programs, and use your high-level skills to provide intensive therapeutic interventions. This is a unique opportunity which will allow for the creation and facilitation of group and individual programs and to contribute to the development of an updated model of care, as Nexus moves to a new unit. Where You Will Be Working Nexus, a 12-bed inpatient unit at John Hunter Hospital, offers an exceptional opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist passionate about engaging with adolescents in need of acute mental health care. This full-time role involves delivering evidence-based, person-centred therapy, facilitating group and individual programs, and contributing to a new model of care in a state-of-the-art unit.
