About the Opportunity: Reporting into the Principal Cloud Engineer, the Cloud Solution Engineering Leader will work collaboratively with Development teams to lead design, deployment and operation of applications on the AWS cloud platform. Responsibilities include: Lead and develop a team of Cloud Solution Engineers, whilst continuing to build capability Build and maintain tools for deployment, ensuring availability, automation, performance and efficiency Strategic planning and execution of complex cloud solutions and transformations Troubleshoot and resolve issues in non-prod and production environments Serve as a bridge between technical teams and senior business stakeholders About You: You will have deep experience in cloud engineering, have developed and lead Engineers and have a view for the wider strategic technical picture. Additionally, some of the following experience: Tertiary qualification in Technology or Computer Science – or equivalent work experience Solid background working with cloud technologies at the implementation level, demonstrated over at least 5 years AWS / Azure Cloud certifications Strong experience and ability to design solutions to complex Business problems Strong development skills in one or more of: Typescript Python Apache Airflow Terraform AWS componentry such as Lambda, Kafka/MSK Strong understanding of DevOps concepts and use including CI/CD platforms and practices utilising infrastructure-as-code Strong problem solving and analytical skills, and able to provide technical leadership to team Ability to maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing and enforcing good practices and controls How to Apply: If you’re ready to ‘light the way’ towards your next career move, click the 'Apply’ button to submit a confidential application.
