Award/Classification: Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award, General Stream, Band 5 $98,255 to $103,069 per annum Employment type: Full Time Region: North Location: LGH Charles Street, Launceston The position has operational responsibility for delivering medical orderly and fleet services to a broad range of clinical units within the Launceston General Hospital. The Team: You will be responsible for managing a diverse team and also be required to proactively develop and maintain effective collaborative relationships with hospital unit managers and other staff to ensure that high quality, timely and well-coordinated support services are provided. The Medical Orderly team plays a crucial role within the LGH, providing services to many professionals we work alongside daily, aiming to achieve the best results for the community who utilize our service. The Role: The position has operational responsibility for delivering medical orderly and fleet services to a broad range of clinical units within the Launceston General Hospital. Providing leadership and direction in the day-to-day coordination of medical orderly services. Providing an efficient specialist medical orderly service to all areas of the Hospital. Details of Appointment: Permanent full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, to commence as soon as possible. *Notwithstanding, hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies. Salary: $98,255 to $103,069 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Agreement (Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award). Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
