Combat Systems Test & Evaluation Engineer Location: Sydney or Adelaide Base Pay Range: A$180,000.00/yr - A$200,000.00/yr Position Description: This Defence SEA project is a strategically significant ACAT 1 initiative, seeking a highly skilled Combat Systems Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer to join our dedicated team. The project focuses on the development and integration of advanced systems for the Australian Navy’s Enhanced Destroyer Capability, including the Aegis Baseline 9 Combat Management System, the AusCMS AI System, and other critical systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to delivering the enhanced combat and support systems, ensuring that the technical objectives of the project are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of an essential defence program and work on cutting-edge technology in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Assure the design and test program for the Combat System segment provided by CSI-IPT. Represent the project at Interim Progress Reviews and Major Design Reviews. Provide technical expertise in reviewing plans, test documentation, and other related documents. Support the V&V (Verification & Validation) Lead in executing testing activities. Assist in the preparation of T&E activities within the CSI-IPT, transitioning to execution of the test program. Qualifications: A Bachelor of Engineering from an Australian institution or equivalent qualification recognized by the Washington Accord as satisfying the professional engineer requirements. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with naval combat systems. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Defence industry. Demonstrated experience in System Engineering. Why Join Us?
