Key responsibilities: Underwriting and structuring credit risks that are complex, high-value, and exceed the authority of Credit Analysts. Managing relationships with borrowers to ensure compliance with agreed performance obligations. Monitoring portfolio performance and implementing strategic collection approaches where necessary. Negotiating and preparing detailed credit agreements, working closely with legal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance. Mentoring and training less experienced colleagues, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration. Preparing comprehensive reports to ensure the Credit & Risk portfolio is effectively monitored and managed. How success will be measured: Efficient approval of credit submissions within your delegated authority of up to $25 million wholesale. Positive audit outcomes, reflecting adherence to internal and external standards. Timely and effective application decision turnaround times. Measurable growth and capability development in your mentees. What we’re looking for: Demonstrated experience in underwriting and managing complex commercial credit risks, preferably in a wholesale environment. Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a track record of success in structuring credit agreements. Proven ability to manage high-value portfolios with meticulous attention to detail. A natural leader and mentor who thrives on developing others. Knowledge of the agricultural or equipment finance sector is advantageous but not essential. Why this role?
