Base pay range A$120,000.00/yr - A$220,000.00/yr The role An opportunity exists for an intelligent and driven lawyer to join our growing firm at an exciting time. Joining our commercial practice will see you working on some of Australia’s most significant government projects, assisting with: drafting and negotiating a variety of high-value contracts; advising on probity and commercial issues arising in major projects, procurement and contracting, and grants administration processes; implementing procurement law, policy and practice; the establishment and contract management of major IT arrangements and significant systems acquisition projects. What we are looking for We don’t have strict hiring criteria; we would like to hear from candidates with a range of PAE and a variety of backgrounds. However, you would be a great fit for our team if you: have great technical skills – in particular, strong legal analysis and drafting skills; are comfortable in client facing role, solutions oriented, and comfortable taking responsibility for your work; want to work in a growing team; have experience working in (or with) any Government department, or for private clients, in any of the area(s) in which we practise; have an active AGSVA security clearance, or the ability to gain or reinstate an earlier security clearance.
