Reporting to the Commercial and Strategy Manager, the Commercial Manager's main objectives are: Increase our Support By the Hour (SBH) penetration within our region Ensure our customers are provided with world class customer support both technically and commercially Reporting and the achievement of contract budget performance and target equipment turn times Supporting the Customer Support Representative team where applicable in delivering results and collective performance Managing assigned Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) financial and strategic objectives Negotiating new contract agreements with customers Responsible to find new business opportunities for site growth throughout the region Implementation of systems and methods to achieve performance is the responsibility of the position Minimum Qualification & Experience Tertiary qualification in Business or Sales related and/or Engineering course will be highly regarded Sales training/qualification would be advantageous Project management training/qualification would be advantageous Experience working within a regional OEM Customer Service or Commercial Sales team, including a minimum of 4 years as an Aviation Customer Support Representative Operational background in an aviation or engineering organisation Good working knowledge and understanding of aviation regulations Good knowledge of our regional customer base, and ideally has been part of this community, and is well respected throughout the aviation industry A strong sales focus with robust negotiating skills enhanced by a flair for customer service Advanced knowledge of Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products Good product knowledge and capacity to learn our product range Continuous improvement mindset to consistently improve our processes and procedures to create efficiencies within our business. Actively contribute to our QRQC rituals.
