Community & Facility Manager - Cohort Innovation Space CoSpaces Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia Employment type: Full-time or part-time options available Days required: Monday – Friday – Immediate Start Location: In person at Cohort, Southport, Gold Coast Salary: $65k – $75k + superannuation full-time wage, depending on experience. About CoSpaces For over a decade, CoSpaces has been embedded as a key player in Queensland’s innovation ecosystem, designing and managing leading innovation hubs, startup programs and entrepreneurial events. CoSpaces specialise in the design, leasing, management and activation of flexible workspaces and innovation communities. This role is specifically working at Cohort Innovation Space, an architecturally designed, modern space for tech startups, freelancers, and digital professionals. Role Overview As the Community Coordinator, you will be the welcoming face for all guests and tenants, and the go-to contact for our community. Your responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the space and fostering a vibrant community environment. Key Responsibilities Reception and office coordination: Ensure the space is opened and closed each day, manage kitchen consumables and order stock as required. Answer email and phone enquiries about the space, facilities, memberships and events. Community building: Welcome new members, build great relationships with members, and deliver community events that bring the community together. Facility management: Work with the Operations Manager to ensure efficient management of our facilities. Manage contractors and suppliers for planned maintenance, repairs, incidents, and emergencies. Leasing: Manage and grow our members that lease private offices and coworking desks. Provide space tours to guests and prospective tenants. Events Support: Support the Program Team in delivering events, workshops, and programs. Help coordinate logistics, including setup, catering, and supplier management. Room Bookings: Manage meeting and event bookings through our online system. Qualifications 2+ years experience in project management, administration, real estate, facilities management, or property management Excellent customer service skills and a true ‘people person’ Ability to work quickly, prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently Strong attention to detail Knowledge of the e-commerce landscape, emerging industries, technology, and a genuine interest in supporting emerging businesses to grow A positive ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to adapt, learn and grow Why Join Us Impact: Have a real impact on the success of a brand-new space.
