Community Support Worker - Yamanto & surrounding suburbs About the role: Regal Health, a Lumia Care company, presents an exciting opportunity for Community Support Workers to assist our clients in South Brisbane regions (Ipswich, Yamanto and surrounding suburbs).Immediate start for successful candidates! Role responsibilities: Our clients will require assistance in personal care, domestic assistance, social support, meal preparation, compression stockings, medication prompting etc. Availability between Monday - Sunday from 7am-8pm and/or overnights . Support clients in our community needing assistance with social support, transport to appointments and community outings. Provide personal care to clients with dignity and respect such as assisting with showering, grooming and dressing. Continue to support clients to live in their own home by providing help with their meal preparation, cleaning and most importantly, companionship. What we are looking for: A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST. Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is a MUST. Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training. Experience in either disability or community is a MUST. Experience with manual handling not mandatory but IDEAL. A valid driver's license and own vehicle is a MUST. Current First Aid certificate (mandatory) or willing to obtain. Current Police Check (mandatory) or willing to obtain.
