Deadline: March 29, 2024District/Organization: Michigan Department of Education Office of Special EducationPosition/Type: Other, part timeSalary: $65/hr as a part-time contractor and $44/hr as a full-time contracted employee Position Overview This Complaint CAP Contractor position will serve as the recognized resource in the Office of Special Education (OSE) relative to monitoring corrective action and proof of compliance for state complaint corrective action plans. Responsibilities include: Approving member district or Intermediate School District (ISD) Corrective Action Plans (CAP) and Student Level Corrective Action Plans (SLCAP). Reviewing and approving progress reports on CAPs and SLCAPs. Reviewing evidence such as policies, procedures, and practices, student documents, district visits, and/or staff interviews to verify corrective action compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Michigan Administrative Rules of Special Education (MARSE). Providing technical assistance to districts and/or ISDs to ensure understanding and implementation of IDEA and MARSE requirements. Supporting teammates in Program Accountability responsibilities. Work Environment The analyst works independently under the direction of the Coaching and Training Coordinator, performing duties and responsibilities related to complaint CAPs and SLCAPs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
