Add expected salary to your profile for insights About the role This is a newly created role that offers a diverse portfolio, focusing on business performance management, strategic planning, annual budgeting, rolling forecast as well as leading key business functions that support operational excellence and sustainable growth. Working closely with the executive team, you will drive strategic initiatives across finance, HR, IT, risk, and governance, ensuring that corporate services are aligned with the organisation’s ambitious objectives.Responsibilities Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the main duties will include: Work with the executive team and state managers to build and maintain strategic and business plans, including the preparation of presentations to the Board summarising plans. Review and report on financial results, including budget comparison, variances, and discrepancies. Produce and review management reports and commentary. Lead and develop high-performing corporate service teams across multiple functions. Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across corporate services. Implement best-practice governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks. Optimise financial management and resource allocation to support strategic growth. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Partner with senior leadership to influence and execute business strategy. The successful applicant will have CA/CPA qualified. Proven history of business partnering with senior executives, possessing the ability to effectively communicate financial data to operations. Proven leadership experience in corporate services or a similar strategic role. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to align corporate services with business goals. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. A passion for innovation and a commitment to fostering a strong organisational culture.
