Attractive remuneration package + site uplift Play a role in the long-term growth of their Australian businessLead multiple project teams in delivering transmission substations Job Description Your new company:Join a global leader in the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects within the energy sector. As part of a signature energy transition project, they are currently overseeing the construction and delivery of multiple transmission substations, ranging from 330kv to 500kv, in regional NSW. This is one of the largest energy infrastructure projects of its kind in Australia. Your new role: In spearheading the construction and delivery of multiple greenfield transmission substation and switching yard projects, key aspects of your role will include: Project Leadership & Execution – Oversee multiple project teams, along with the planning, coordination, and execution of all construction activities, from civil earthworks through to commissioning. Stakeholder & Contractor Management – Lead collaboration with internal teams, partners, subcontractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders including utilities, regulatory bodies, and local communities. Health, Safety & Compliance – Ensure all construction activities adhere to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, aligning with industry regulations and best practices. Risk & Issue Resolution – Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and challenges, implementing solutions to address delays, cost overruns, and technical issues. Budget & Resource Management – Manage project finances, procurement, and workforce allocation to optimize resources while maintaining cost control and efficiency. In joining a newly established team, you will not only have the opportunity to deliver a signature project that will change the energy landscape, but also longer term play a pivotal role in shaping the future growth of this globally successful company within Australia. During delivery of the project, you will be on a 14:7 roster, based on-site in regional NSW. About You: You will ideally bring to this critical role: An electrical engineering background, ideally with degree level qualifications Circa 15+ years project management experience Experience in the delivery of large-scale greenfield transmission projects A track record of delivering high-value projects on time, within budget, safely, and with environmental protection and sustainability front of mind Strong stakeholder engagement capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple stakeholders Knowledge of the Australian electricity market and relevant regulations and standards.
