Base pay range A$100,000.00/yr - A$200,000.00/yr Our client is a sector-focused global law firm with a focus on construction disputes. They have a National Construction team that operates across all three of their Australian offices. In Melbourne, their Construction team is composed of three Partners, one Consultant, one Senior Associate, and five Associates. They represent many of the largest international construction companies, with a particular focus on infrastructure projects in the energy and transport sectors. The Role In this role, you will work directly with Partners and clients across a range of jurisdictions on interesting and often complex matters. You are a true construction law specialist taking ownership of matters and lead, supervise, and mentor Junior Associates in the team to achieve great outcomes. The successful candidate will join a reputable and thriving practice and work with a high-performing and supportive team who view the broader success of the firm as paramount. Senior Associate Requirements: Individuals with a genuine passion for construction litigation and arbitration At least 6 years of litigation experience, most of which should be in construction Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Client service mindset Ability to lead, mentor, and support junior associates A team player with a collaborative approach Ability to multitask and manage deliverables to deadlines Ability to grasp complex technical legal concepts and apply them to specific matters.
