Overview The Construction Project Executive is responsible for the administrative and technical management of construction projects across multiple market sectors. The Construction Project Executive will lead business development, pursuit, and pre-construction efforts to continue to grow our Construction Services team. This position functions as the point person for each project, directing large and complex projects and overseeing multiple projects through all phases of pre-construction and construction. The Construction Project Executive ensures all projects adhere to corporate Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Construction Quality Control policy. The Construction Project Executive shall have experience managing 3 to 5 simultaneous at-risk construction projects ranging from $5M to $50M or more in size. Job requirements may include travel, temporary duty assignments, or relocations. Willingness to travel for project assignments is a must. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead construction and design/build proposals including planning, estimating, scheduling, subcontracting, detailing technical and management approach, past performance, and HSE and Quality compliance. Negotiate Owner, design partner, consultant, and trade partner agreements and contracts. Manage large, complex projects and oversee multiple projects through all phases of pre-construction and construction. Provide senior-level leadership to Construction Project Managers for planning, budgets, contract administration, change orders, submittal, procurement, and schedule. Supervise multiple project teams and provide mentorship to Construction Project Managers. Ensure project team members have or obtain necessary training for successful job performance. Support Construction Project Managers on financial performance and reporting, including monthly forecasting and monitoring costs incurred. Ensure compliance with corporate safety policies and site-specific health and safety plans. Ensure compliance with quality performance standards and contractual requirements. Manage client relationships to ensure owner satisfaction and prompt resolution of open issues. Maintain thorough knowledge of BRPH’s contracts, insurance requirements, and policies and procedures. Participate in strategic growth initiatives and overall management for the Construction Services Business. Qualifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field; graduate degree in engineering or business is a plus. 10-15+ years of construction experience. Extensive knowledge of the construction industry with strong relationships with trade partners. Design-Build experience required; DBIA and LEED Accreditation are a plus. Skilled at negotiating and developing relationships with owners and subcontractors. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team; minimum 10 years supervisory experience. Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Passion for the work and industry is a must.
