Certis Security is on the hunt for vibrant individuals to join our team as Control Room Operators, dedicated to ensuring safety and serenity at a major retail hotspot in Geelong, Victoria. We are seeking dedicated and vigilant full-time Control Room Operators to join our dynamic team. As CRO, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational security, providing real-time support to on-ground teams, and ensuring the safety of client assets through advanced monitoring systems. This position offers stable, full-time employment with opportunities for growth based on performance. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage live security feeds, ensuring rapid detection and response to incidents. Communicate efficiently with on-ground security personnel to coordinate effective incident responses. Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, system malfunctions, and escalations. Perform regular system health checks and troubleshoot technical issues. Respond to alarm activations, providing immediate assessment and escalation where necessary. Deliver top-tier service, always acting with professionalism and integrity. Skills and Experience Required: A current Security Licence with CRO endorsement. Valid First Aid Certificate. Previous experience in a control room environment. Full working rights in Australia. Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure. Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate various computer and monitoring systems. Availability to work a daytime roster including weekends and public holidays.
