Position Overview The Coordinator - Asset Operations plays a pivotal role within the Community Assets Directorate, managing various aspects of the Council’s asset base, including roads, stormwater, fleet services, and parks and reserves. We have 2 exciting Coordinator opportunities: Property Management Parks and Reserves These roles are essential in ensuring the effective delivery of capital works projects and asset management programs that benefit the community. As part of a team of over 45 professionals, you will work collaboratively to prioritize work health and safety, public safety, and risk management while implementing sound project management practices. About You It’s important to us that you are the right fit to join our team, but just as important, that West Tamar Council is the right place for you. We are looking for proactive and experienced leaders who possess a strong understanding of local government operations and community needs. The successful candidate will have: Trade or tertiary qualifications relevant to asset management. Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in Parks and Reserves or Roads functions. Proven budget and procurement management skills. Strong project management and Work Health Safety knowledge.
