About This Role An outstanding opportunity has become available for a Development Coordinator to join our Operations team at Narrabri Mine. Reporting to the Development Superintendent, the Development Coordinator is responsible for the safe performance of Narrabri Mine Development activities by complying with and enforcing effective safety systems. What You'll Do Coordinate production activities to achieve planned mining, including management of significant contractor activity. Provide active leadership to the development crews and identify areas for potential improvement to mining processes. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental obligations pertaining to mining activities within the Development process. Provide leadership for Supervisors, technicians, consultants, and contractors. Set, articulate, and measure expectations and targets; formulate daily, weekly, and 13-weekly plans in accordance with the mine's schedule. Ensure that Undermanagers, Deputies, and crews are carrying out the 24-hour plans by means of regular monitoring and auditing of the returned plans. Effectively plan all required overtime in the development panels and ensure that these levels are not exceeded. What You'll Bring Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or related disciplines.
